Swiftly moving on....After months in the planning the Art 4 All project is due to begin on Monday. This is an exciting new venture for the National Horseracing, Newmarket Open Door, the intended recipients and myself.  I am really looking forward to doing some art with people and paint for the next six weeks.

The information day for prospective artists to attend the Art 4 All workshops was well attended and folks signed up.

The first workshop went well. Many new things to discuss and think about, getting to know one another, sketching in the Museum Galleries followed by delicious tea and scone in the Cafe.

The second workshop was idyllic.  The sun was shining, so I put the tables and art materials in the Museum garden.  Fun was has had experimenting with a variety of different art mediums. The outdoor experience is recommended... it was relaxed and seemed to inspire.

Thanks to Tess Young at Tattersall's for the interesting stories and information on our tour. Hopefully inspirational because the weather certainly wasn't!

The third workshop produced super collage work. Well done to the sticky fingered group.
