Palace House, Newmarket, fit for a Queen!

Amongst great excitement The Queen was helicoptered in on a bright, cold November morning to open a bronze statue of herself in 1977 with foals and the long awaited National Heritage Centre. The invited guests chattered in the marquee until being invited into position to await Her Majesty's arrival.

Ladies in waiting!

The Queen looking lovely in a delicate pink outfit, accompanied by Peter Jensen and Chris Garibaldi.

Well done to Chris Garibaldi, all the staff and those who have contributed to create this superb museum.

I thoroughly recommend taking time to visit.
