After a long wait in the hot sun Newmarket Town Carnival 2017 began processing out of Tattersall's gates and down The Avenue. The terrific Newmarket Samba Band from Newmarket College slotted in outside the Memorial Hall and the wonderful rythym of the drums began. You can't miss the bright orange Market Place kite t-shirts. Tremendously well done to all the teams and everyone who has participated in making this a BIG,Bright and Bold success!

Big, Bright and Bold Creative Kites to parade in Newmarket Town Carnival and on to Newmarket Kite Symphony on Long Hill...I think they should be visible! It's all go...I don't think my sewing machine has had to go this fast before.
