    When you have something special to show off it's always nice to present it in an eye catching way. The legacy of spending a life time employed in the horse racing industry by the participants of Everyone's a Winner's are no exception. The outsides are covered in different coloured silk which contrast with the insides. There are two covered buttons, two silk ribbon ties.

    The design and development of the journal construction went through various process alterations until I arrived at a satisfactory, functional, yet attractive solution. The insides are made of different coloured card to correspond with the racing colours worn by jockeys. The pages are stuck along one edge and fold like a concertina or accordion. Stories have been exchanged one after the other and at great speed, accompanied by a lot of laughter. We were meeting to create a Personal Journal of their lives working in the racing industry.
